    Great photo! I’ve been in preservation hall many times. My first time there as a kid in the 60’s I saw the Asunto brothers Dukes of Dixieland with “Sweet Emma” Barrett as guest on piano and vocals.

  2. Sounds like you were a regular at Preservation Hall during its heyday. I’m jealous! This photo, however, was taken at Maison Bourbon — another historic jazz club on Bourbon Street, about a block from Preservation Hall.
