Before America can break its addiction to oil, it has to break its addiction to punditry. Yes, they are connected; because punditry makes us feel good about behaving like assholes.

    the punditry, particularly the radio and television connected punditry, provide the national model of a$$hole — particularly as they receive so many $$$$$$$$$$$ for being so.

    There is nothing I trust less than a pundit. I hate that they try and find anyone who has ever written a book even close to the topic and invite them on. But with 72 hours of news to fill a day, they have to start making stuff up sooner or later.
